What is a revisor?

Translators are only human, and people can sometimes make mistakes. (That's why pencils have little rubbers at the end!) A revisor is a second translator who carefully reviews the first translator's work to ensure that it is complete, correct, consistent in the use of terminology (including those terms used in previous translations for the same customer) and faithful to the original. And needless to say, the revisor ensures that there are no spelling or grammatical errors.
Every translation provided by DBF Communicatie is guaranteed to have been reviewed by a revisor, unless specific agreements have been made to the contrary beforehand.
